Warranty, Refund & Product Support
At Aussie Fitness Equipment, we stand behind the products we sell. If something isn’t right, our goal is simple, we’ll work with you to resolve it quickly, fairly, and with as little disruption as possible.
All products are covered by guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, in addition to any applicable manufacturer warranties.
Our Approach to Warranty
Gym equipment is designed to be used, and with use comes normal wear over time. Warranty coverage is intended to protect against manufacturing faults or product failures under normal, intended use.
If you experience an issue, we recommend contacting our team first. Many problems can be resolved quickly with troubleshooting, adjustments, or replacement parts, without needing to return the full product.
Every case is assessed individually to ensure the most practical and efficient outcome.
Warranty Covers:
Warranty support generally applies to:
- Manufacturing or material faults
- Structural failures during normal use
- Faulty components or parts
- Products not performing as intended when used correctly
Warranty Does Not Cover:
Warranty does not typically cover:
- Normal wear and tear from regular use
- Cosmetic damage (scratches, marks, finish wear)
- Incorrect use, assembly, or handling.
- Any damage caused during assembly is not covered under warranty. We recommend professional assembly for larger or complex equipment.
- Lack of maintenance or improper storage
- Modifications or unauthorised repairs
- Damage occurring after delivery (including relocation)
Home Use vs Commercial Use
Warranty coverage may differ depending on how equipment is used:
- Home Use: Private residential use
- Commercial Use: Gyms, studios, PT facilities, schools, workplaces, or shared-use environments
Commercial environments involve significantly higher usage, which may impact warranty terms.
If you’re unsure, we recommend confirming with our team before purchasing.
Delivery Issues (Damage or Missing Items)
If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
To help us resolve this quickly, please provide:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the product and packaging
- A brief description of the issue
Where possible, please retain all packaging until the issue is resolved.
Ex-Demo & Clearance Products
Ex-demo or clearance items may show signs of cosmetic wear.
- These products are checked to ensure they are fully functional
- Warranty applies to functional faults only
- Cosmetic imperfections present at purchase are not covered
Looking After Your Equipment
Proper care plays a key role in performance, safety, and longevity.
We recommend:
- Keeping equipment clean and dry
- Regularly checking bolts, cables, and moving parts
- Lubricating components where required
- Inspecting for wear before use
- Avoiding harsh chemicals or outdoor exposure
Routine maintenance is considered part of normal ownership.
Returns & Refunds
We understand that sometimes things don’t go to plan. If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact our team first so we can help determine the best solution.

Return Approval
All returns must be approved by Aussie Fitness Equipment prior to being sent back.
Returns submitted without approval may not be accepted, as we need to confirm the reason and provide the correct instructions.
Change of Mind
Due to the size, weight, and freight costs of gym equipment, we do not offer refunds for change of mind.
This includes situations where:
- The product is no longer required
- An incorrect item was selected
- The item does not fit the intended space
- Preferences change after delivery
We strongly recommend reviewing product specifications and measurements before purchasing. Our team is always available to assist prior to ordering.
Change of Mind (Before Dispatch)
If you’ve placed an order and realise you’ve selected the wrong item or size, please contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we may be able to cancel it and provide a store credit so you can place a new order. We'll try - but we cannot promise as our warehouse team is pretty speedy - so we can’t always guarantee changes once your order is underway.
Faulty or Damaged Products
If a product arrives faulty or develops an issue under normal use, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where a fault is confirmed, we will provide a solution in line with Australian Consumer Law, which may include:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Replacement parts
- Refund (where appropriate)
Return Conditions
Where a return is approved:
- Items must be returned in original condition
- Original packaging should be retained where possible
- Items must not be installed, assembled, or used (unless the issue relates to performance)
Return freight costs may apply unless the product is confirmed to be faulty.
Refund Processing
Once returned goods are received and inspected, approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch.
In some cases, a 10% cancellation fee may apply to cover administrative and merchant costs.
