Warranty, Returns & Support
At Aussie Fitness Equipment, we stand behind every product we sell. Whether you’re building a home gym, fitting out a PT studio or equipping a commercial facility, we’re here to support you long after your purchase.
We pride ourselves on supplying quality fitness equipment backed by knowledgeable advice and helpful after-sales support. If you ever experience an issue with your equipment, our team will work with you to determine the most appropriate solution.
All products sold by Aussie Fitness Equipment are covered by the consumer guarantees provided under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), in addition to any applicable manufacturer’s warranty.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
If your product has a major failure, you may be entitled to a replacement, refund or other remedy as provided under Australian Consumer Law. Where a fault is minor, we will work with you to repair or replace the product within a reasonable timeframe.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.
Manufacturer’s Warranty
Many products sold by Aussie Fitness Equipment include a manufacturer’s warranty that provides additional coverage beyond your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty periods vary depending on the manufacturer and product. Please refer to the individual product page or contact our team if you require clarification before purchasing.
Where applicable, we may liaise with the manufacturer or supplier on your behalf to help facilitate the warranty process.
Choosing the Right Equipment
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure the equipment selected is suitable for its intended use.
Products designed for home use should not be used in commercial environments unless specifically stated. Likewise, commercial equipment should always be installed, maintained and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
If you’re unsure which equipment best suits your needs, our experienced team is always happy to help before you purchase.
Assembly & Installation
Correct assembly is essential for both safety and performance.
Please ensure:
- Assembly instructions are followed carefully.
- All bolts, fittings and moving components are checked before first use.
- Bolts and fasteners are rechecked after the first few training sessions.
- Equipment is installed on a suitable level surface.
- Equipment requiring floor anchoring is secured correctly where recommended by the manufacturer.
Damage resulting from incorrect assembly, installation or use that is inconsistent with the manufacturer’s instructions may not be covered under the applicable warranty.
Equipment Care & Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps maximise the lifespan and performance of your equipment.
We recommend:
- Inspecting equipment regularly for loose bolts, worn cables or damaged parts.
- Cleaning equipment after use to remove perspiration and moisture.
- Lubricating moving components where recommended by the manufacturer.
- Servicing treadmills and cardio equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule.
- Replacing worn components when necessary.
- Following any maintenance requirements outlined by the manufacturer.
Where a fault has been caused or contributed to by a lack of reasonable maintenance, warranty coverage may be affected in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty and Australian Consumer Law.
What’s Not Covered
Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover damage resulting from:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Cosmetic damage such as scratches, chips or scuff marks.
- Misuse, abuse or accidental damage.
- Incorrect assembly or installation.
- Failure to follow operating instructions.
- Lack of reasonable maintenance.
- Commercial use of products intended for domestic use.
- Outdoor storage or exposure to weather.
- Product modifications or unauthorised repairs.
Warranty coverage varies between manufacturers and products, so specific inclusions and exclusions may differ.
Damaged or Faulty Products
Please inspect your order as soon as practical after delivery.
If your order has been damaged during transit or appears to have a manufacturing fault, please contact us as soon as possible and include:
- Your order number.
- A description of the issue.
- Clear photographs of the damage or fault.
- A short video where appropriate.
Providing complete information helps us assess your claim more efficiently and minimise unnecessary delays.

To lodge a warranty claim, please email info@aussiefitness.com.au with:
- Your order number.
- Product name.
- A description of the issue.
- Photos and/or videos.
- Your contact details.
Our team will review the information provided and, where necessary, work with the relevant manufacturer or supplier to assess the claim.

- Technical troubleshooting.
- Replacement parts.
- Repair.
- Product replacement.

Replacement Parts & Repairs
Many warranty issues can be resolved by supplying replacement parts rather than returning the entire product.
Where appropriate, our team may assist by phone, email or video call to help diagnose the issue and determine the most suitable course of action.
Depending on the nature of the claim, this may involve replacement parts, repairs or further assessment.
Return to Base Repairs
Depending on the product and nature of the claim, an item may need to be returned to our warehouse, the manufacturer or an authorised repair centre for further assessment.
If a return is required, our team will provide instructions before any product is sent back.
Please do not return products without first contacting our team.
Returns & Refunds
If your product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise qualifies for a remedy under Australian Consumer Law, we’ll assess the circumstances and work with you to determine the appropriate resolution.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
- Repair.
- Replacement parts.
- Replacement product.
- Refund.
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed back to the original payment method.
Please allow up to 5 business days for your financial institution to process the transaction after the refund has been issued.
Change of Mind
We do not accept returns for change of mind, including where:
- You no longer require the product.
- You ordered the incorrect item.
- You found the product elsewhere.
- The product meets its description but does not meet your personal expectations.
If you’re unsure which equipment is right for you, please contact our team before purchasing. We’re always happy to help you make the right choice.
Commercial Equipment
Commercial equipment should be inspected and maintained regularly, particularly in high-use environments such as gyms, PT studios, schools and sporting facilities.
We recommend implementing a regular inspection and maintenance schedule appropriate for the level of use and in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
