At Aussie Fitness Equipment, we stand behind the products we sell. Our goal is simple - if something isn’t right, we’ll work with you to get it sorted as quickly and fairly as possible.
All products sold by Aussie Fitness Equipment are covered by guarantees under Australian Consumer Law. These guarantees apply in addition to any manufacturer or supplier warranty.
Our Approach to Warranty
Gym equipment is built to be used, and over time normal wear is expected. Warranty coverage is intended to protect against manufacturing faults or product failures that occur under normal, intended use.
If you ever experience an issue, the best first step is to contact our team. In many cases, problems can be resolved quickly with replacement parts or simple adjustments without needing to return the product.
Each situation is assessed individually so we can provide the most practical solution.
What Is Generally Covered
Warranty support typically applies to:
- Manufacturing or material faults
- Structural failures during normal use
- Faulty components or parts
- Products that do not perform as intended when used correctly
What Is Generally Not Covered
Warranty does not normally apply to:
- Normal wear and tear from regular use
- Cosmetic marks, scratches or finish wear
- Damage caused by incorrect use or assembly
- Lack of maintenance or improper storage
- Modifications or unauthorised repairs
- Damage caused after delivery or during relocation
Equipment used in commercial or high-volume environments may carry different warranty coverage than equipment used in a residential setting.
Home Use & Commercial Use
Home use refers to equipment used in a private residential setting.
Commercial use includes gyms, studios, PT facilities, schools, workplaces, clubs, or any shared-use training environment. Equipment in these settings experiences significantly higher usage, and warranty periods may differ accordingly.

Delivery Damage or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
To help us resolve this quickly:
- Keep all packaging where possible
- Take clear photos of the product and packaging
- Provide your order number and details
Ex-Demo & Clearance Products
Ex-demo or clearance items may show cosmetic signs of use. These products are checked to ensure they function correctly and are covered for functional faults only.
Cosmetic wear present at the time of purchase is not considered a warranty issue.
Looking After Your Equipment
Proper care helps extend the life of your equipment and ensures safe operation.
We recommend:
- Keeping equipment clean and dry
- Checking bolts, cables and moving parts regularly
- Lubricating moving components where required
- Inspecting equipment for wear before use
- Avoiding harsh chemicals or outdoor exposure
Routine maintenance is considered part of normal ownership.
Returns & Refunds
We understand that sometimes things don’t go to plan. If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact our team first so we can help find the best solution.
Return Approval Required
Before returning any product, please contact Aussie Fitness Equipment for approval.
Returns sent back without prior approval may not be accepted, as we need to confirm the reason for return and provide the correct return instructions.
To request a return please submit a returns form.
Change of Mind
Due to the size, weight and freight costs associated with gym equipment, we do not offer refunds for change of mind.
This includes situations where:
- The product is no longer required
- An incorrect item was selected
- The item does not fit the intended space
- Preference changes after delivery
We recommend checking product specifications and measurements carefully before purchasing.
If you’re unsure, our team is always happy to help prior to ordering.
Faulty or Damaged Products
If a product arrives faulty or develops a fault under normal use, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assess the issue.
Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, we will arrange repair, replacement, parts supply or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Return Conditions
Where a return is approved:
- Items must be returned in original condition
- Original packaging should be retained where possible
- Items must not be installed, assembled, or used unless the fault relates to performance
Return freight costs may apply unless the product is confirmed to be faulty.
Refund Processing
Once returned goods have been received and inspected, approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
